Introduction
CBEA welcomes donations to support the promotion and implementation of Consciousness-Based education in new schools, existing public schools, and after-school programs throughout the United States and Canada.

Education today, throughout the world, is information-based. It focuses on what is “known,” such as facts, events, and ideas, but ignores the “knower,” the consciousness of the student—his or her inner intelligence. Such an education, that attempts to enliven knowledge—without reference to the intelligence of the child— and presents information in a fragmented approach, can only develop partial use of the brain.

Until schools everywhere provide a systematic means for developing the total brain and intelligence of each student, each student will remain segregated from his or her full creative intelligence or wholeness—and the result will be problems and suffering in life. All problems on the individual, national, and global level are due to inadequate education.

Consciousness-Based education provides what is missing in education, the knowledge and technology to systematically develop the complete value of intelligence in students everywhere as a foundation for ideal learning. Only complete education will lead to complete knowledge, happiness, and success in the lives of individual students—and when available for all students—lead to a peaceful, happy, and progressive world family.

It is through the generous support of individuals, corporations, and foundations who recognize and understand the purpose of Consciousness-Based education and the necessity of transforming the field of education to transform the world, that so many remarkable Consciousness-Based education institutions and programs have been developed over the past 50 years in many countries around the world.

The goal of the CBEA is to promote and provide the knowledge and technology to make education everywhere in America capable of creating exemplary citizens—individuals with the organizing power, wisdom, and self-sufficiency to achieve their desires while simultaneously promoting the well-being of society.
